PAC37 Allocates Beam Time

The PAC37 meeting was held on May 21-22 to consider 30 proposals for 4741 hours of beam time. The committee recommended allocation of 2861 hours for 19 experiments. The list of approved experiments is posted at: http://www.nscl.msu.edu/exp/approvedexp/37. Ten of the experiments are led by outside spokespersons and nine by in-house spokespersons. There are 195 experimenters from 54 institutions in 9 countries in the approved set (138 from the United States and 57 from abroad). The total number of students included on the approved proposals is 41.
